Cooking Guidelines:
Hob (From Ambient): For 2 people, soak 100g of Thai Taste Folded Rice Noodles in 1 litre of boiling water for 10-12 minutes. When soft, drain and rinse in cold water.
Preparation and Usage:
Serve hot or cold.
Our 3mm variety is ideal for soups, salads, stir fries and Pad Thai.
Recipes:
Sweet Chilli Prawn and Noodle Stir Fry - Serves 4
You will need:
200g Thai Taste Folded Rice Noodles, cooked
1 tbsp oil
400g raw prawns, peeled
1 onion, thinly sliced
6-8 baby corn, halved
2 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
4 tbsp Thai Taste Sweet Chilli Sauce
2 tbsp Thai Taste Light Soy Sauce
4 spring onions, thinly sliced
1. Prepare the noodles as per cooking instructions.
2. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan, add the prawns and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the onion and cook for a further 2 minutes.
3. Add the baby corn and carrots and cook for 4 minutes.
4. Stir in the noodles, sweet chilli sauce and soy sauce. Serve immediately.
Serve with sliced spring onions.
Tip: You may substitute prawns with diced chicken or chopped vegetables.
